A B&B owner from Kewstoke will walk a 630-mile coastal path for Cancer Research UK.

Terry Gill, who runs Church House B&B, will walk along the South West Coast Path every day for eight weeks, starting in April.

He said: “I have never done long-distance walking before.

“I turned 65 last year and decided to do something useful to give back.

“I am trying to raise as much awareness and money as I can.”

Terry has been planning his walk for about two years, and will camp and stay at B&Bs during the trek.

He said he has lost members of his family to cancer, and is hoping to raise around £2,000.

Terry will have T-shirts printed with the names of people who have died from cancer.
