Sign-ups open for Kewstoke 5k and 10k races

Runners and volunteers are being urged to get involved in a fundraiser being held in Kewstoke this summer.

Make The Point is in its third year, and will raise money for children’s charities Tiny Tickers and Chicks.

Entry is open to sign up for the 5k and 10k runs, which will take place in Sand Bay, covering sand, grass and gravel.

There will also be a family day, with refreshments, games, stalls and a bouncy castle at the village hall in Crookes Lane from 10am-2pm.

Organiser Callie Pothecary hopes the event will be well supported.

She said: “As always we would love to make it bigger and better so any local support we can get is really very much appreciated.”

Make The Point will take place on July 8 at 10am.

Volunteers are needed to help on the day, and
