Children in a North Somerset village were treated to a free Christmas party at the weekend.

Kewstoke Parish Council organised the activities for youngsters from the village aged two to eight.

It was held at the village hall, in Crookes Lane, and provided entertainment and food for children and adults to enjoy.

The highlight, as always at this time of year, was a visit from Santa, who provided presents to all the children who attended.

The youngsters were also given balloon animals.
