Library to host workshops celebrating ancient Greek classic

Weston Library will host a series of workshops to inspire young adventurers.

To celebrate the performances of Jason And The Argonauts at the Tropicana this week a treasure hunt will be held at the library, in Walliscote Grove Road, from 10-11am on Thursday.

Four Swords, the company performing the show, will also put on a drama workshop on Saturday.

Jason And The Argonauts is a Greek tale about Jason’s quest to find the mythical golden fleece.

The production, created alongside Forkbeard Fantasy, uses puppetry and film projections to life

The drama workshop is priced £3 per child which can be paid on the day.

The Tropicana is also hosting productions of another Greek classic, Medea, from Wednesday until Saturday.
