A CAMPAIGNER fighting for Portishead's controversial Cabstand road layout to be scrapped is calling for residents to join him to question community leaders at North Somerset Council's AGM.Mr Jolley wants people at the authority's yearly meeting to ask the question 'What do we have to do to get some action?" The appeal follows a public march where more than 1,000 people turned out to press for the lights system to be scrapped. The march was held the week before a meeting of the authority's scrutiny panel who discussed the future of the road system before making recommendations to improve the troublesome junction.Mr Jolley said: "This is an important event in the council's calendar and I feel it will also be a good opportunity to ask what we have to do to get some action as clearly the petition and the march don't seem to have carried enough weight with the right people. "The meeting is open to the public and I am looking forward to seeing as many people as possible in the public gallery.
