Locking Parklands has been recognised as one of the best housing developments for first-time buyers.

St Modwen Homes was voted highly recommended in the Best Large Development category at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards.

Its Locking Parklands development was shortlisted in the final three alongside projects in London and Basingstoke.

St Modwen Homes managing director Dave Smith said: “With a development of this size, it is vital we are providing new homes for everybody at Locking Parklands, especially those who are looking to take their first step on to the property ladder.

“This has been at the forefront of our minds throughout the design and planning process for this development, and to receive recognition for the quality of the development for first-time buyers is very satisfying.”

It is the second award for Locking Parklands in the past year.
