JUST when you thought Weston’s summer could not get any wetter, a 12m-high log flume has been set up on the resort’s seafront.
North Somerset Council moved to bring the attraction to the town after tearing up its contract with big wheel operators Great City Attractions.
The attraction also features a carousel, and will be run on the former wheel site on Beach Lawns by Event Attractions for the rest of the summer.
It may return to the resort next year if it proves popular.

As posted previously.... Its great to have something all be it ridiculously positioned on a busy traffic island! Mousetrap Roller Coaster thats ended up on Beach Lawns in Paignton would have been better, but hey, beggars cant be choosers! Carters needs to positioned as close as possible on next lawn next month without a great gap in between.

Soooooo funny! When I heard this was going in place of the wheel, I thought it might actually be quite a cool attraction.... Since I've seen it....erm well it's embarrassing. It looks terrible, tacky, and an eye sore. NSC are soooo soooo funnny. Bless them.

Much nicer than a big wheel. I guess money talks loudest with NSC. What a horrible sight along the seafront and a contrast with the new cafe, seafront and pier. Brings it all down to old-fashioned seaside tackiness again.

Look's really classy, just like the one at Brean leisure park. I think they should rip up the London Eye and get one of these bad boys. Did the council spend any money on this or just provide the land?
