Archant

Members of one of Congresbury’s most popular clubs kick-started the new year by enjoying a tasty lunch with friends on Tuesday.

The village’s Methodist church, in High Street, is home to a Tuesday lunch club which meets every two weeks for a coffee and a catch-up.

The club was a hit with people in the village last year and members are now hoping 2017 is equally successful.

This week’s event saw guests enjoy a tasty bowl of soup, along with a bread roll and a choice of tea or coffee.

Anyone who is interested in attending future lunch club meetings should contact Mary on 01934 832356 or Kathleen on 01934 830128.
