A busy rural road will be closed on two separate occasions next month so urgent repairs to its surface can be carried out.

Brinsea Road in Congresbury, which then feeds into Stock Lane in Langford, will be closed on July 18 for three days.

This is to enable contractors to carry out preparatory works ahead of another closure on July 26, when the road will be completely resurfaced.

The road will be closed from 9.30am-3.30pm on each occasion.

Drivers are advised to use Congresbury High Street, the A370, Brockley Combe Road, Downside Road and the A38 as alternative routes.
