Police have arrested a man this morning (Tuesday) following a drugs raid in Weston-super-Mare.

Officers from Avon and Somerset Constabulary executed a search warrant in Thirlmere Road, on the Bournville estate, at 8am.

A man, aged in his 50s, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs, with intent to supply.

Police seized cash and suspected cannabis at the scene.
