Man dies after Weston crash

A MAN who was resuscitated at the roadside after his car overturned in Weston on Friday night has died in hospital.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash which occurred on the A370 Somerset Avenue at 9.25pm.
The Mazda car was travelling out of Weston, but as it approached the West Wick roundabout near Morrisons the car collided with the central barrier and rolled along the carriageway.
Emergency crews found the 33-year-old driver unconscious and while being treated at the scene he suffered a cardiac arrest.
He was resuscitated at the roadside before being transported to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, where he died yesterday (Mon).
Police would now like to speak to anyone who was using the road and witnessed the collision or the car in the area prior to the incident.
