Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a car crash on Sunday.

The 74-year-old was killed on the B3134 near Burrington after a Honda Prelude collided head-on with his Honda i10 at around 2.50pm.

The Prelude later collided with a Ford C-Max.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary has called for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman said: “At about 2.50pm on Sunday, a Honda Prelude travelling north towards the A368 and a Honda i10 travelling south collided head-on.

“The Prelude was then in a collision with a Ford C-Max.

“The driver of the i10, a 74-year-old man, was taken to hospital but sadly died.

“We’d like to speak to anyone who might have seen the incident or the cars prior to the collision.

“Anyone with information should call 101 and quote reference 5218031799.”
