Man in hospital as car wrecks family home

A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after driving into a Weston house this evening (Sat).
Pictures of the crash in Alfred Street which was submitted by one of our readers, Neil Gibson, through our itwitness24 site.The motorist lost control of his silver Ford Mondeo in Alfred Street at about 7pm.
The driver, who has not been named, was taken to Weston General Hospital with minor injuries. There was a family inside the house but they have escaped injury.
A police spokesman said officers, firefighters and paramedics were on the scene in minutes.
Recovery vehicles are currently on the scene towing the stricken vehicle away.
