Atmospheric photographs captured by a Weston-super-Mare photographer are on display in a town centre café.

Matt Walkley is exhibiting some of his black and white photos at Loves Café, in West Street, throughout August.

Matt runs his own company called Pipes on Sight and this is his first solo exhibition.

He said: “I’ve been taking photography fairly seriously for the past five years. It’s still only a hobby.

“The display includes a selection of street photos, but I also do landscapes as well.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to display them.”

When asked how he decides what pictures to snap, he said: “It’s normally people who have a unique look to them or scenes that are amazing or out of the ordinary.

“My favourite picture is of a lady outside a book shop. She’s sitting in front of the ‘k’ so it says ‘boo’.”
