Folk rebels Mawkin will embark on a new 12-date tour this month.

The tour will showcase the band’s new album Down Among The Dead Men.

The release follows Mawkin’s critically-acclaimed album The Ties That Bind.

Widely regarded as an explosive return to form, the album led to the band supporting Bellowhead on their final farewell tour in 2016, playing to more than 40,000 people in 20 days.

Since reforming in 2012, Mawkin have grown into one of British folk’s brightest new guns.

The group is made up of brothers David and James Delarre, melodeon Nick Cooke, bassist Danny Crump and drummer Lee Richardson.

Mawkin will be at the Chapel Arts, in Lower Borough Walls in Bath, at 8pm on November 26.

Tickets, priced £10-12, are available from or 01225 461700.
