A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after coming off his bike this afternoon (Mon).
The man, believed to be in his 30s, suffered a suspected broken wrist following the accident in Somerset Avenue (A370) at the roundabout junction with Locking Moor Road (A371).
He was taken to Weston General Hospital by paramedics after the accident at around 3.30pm. He was fully conscious throughout his treatment.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said no other cars were involved and it is believed the motorcyclist collided with a fence.
The road is fully open but traffic is reportedly busy in the area.

'Councillor AP Rees resigns' or 'Penrose realises the games up and will not stand at the next general election' is breaking news? Biker falls off his bike and has a suspected broken wrist, does not warrant the 'Breaking News' banner - seriously Archant, you can do better.
