A leisure park in Brean is building a multi-milllion pound clubhouse to cater for weddings, golf days and conferences.

Brean Golf Club will soon have a new two-storey clubhouse which will be able to cater for weddings, private parties and conferences. The club is also building luxury lodges on the site.

Taunton-based construction firm Wrencon began the work this month and the new facilities are expected to be completed by July next year.

Alan House, director at Holiday Resort Unity, said: “We are really excited this development is now underway and very much looking forward to its opening next year.

“Not only does this offer the perfect escape for the keen golfer, but the clubhouse will offer a much-needed facility to the local community and wider region in terms of a venue for conferences, weddings, functions, and as a community space.”
