BANGLADESHI dancing, Polish singing and Flamenco performances will all be taking place in Weston this weekend.

BANGLADESHI dancing, Polish singing and Flamenco performances will all be taking place in Weston this weekend.

Music and dance acts from a wide range of community groups will descend on the town to celebrate diversity.

Visitors to the Winter Gardens will be able to enjoy a whole host of entertainment at the annual Your North Somerset celebrations from 12noon-4pm on Sunday.

Weston College will be holding a photography competition, food lovers can taste treats from around the world and there will also be face painting, craft activities, henna tattoos and eyebrow threading.

The free event is being hosted by North Somerset Council, NHS North Somerset and Avon and Somerset police and is now in its fifth year.

As well as entertainment there will be information and advice on community safety, employment, benefits, health, crime and housing.
