An application has been submitted to build almost 30 new homes at Locking Parklands.

St Modwen Homes has handed in a reserved matters application to North Somerset Council for 27 homes off Bowen Road and Farnborough Road.

The development will include two, three and four-bedroom homes.

The application’s design and access statement says: “It is felt this proposal provides a sympathetic response to the existing and future residential development to the north and east, and provide connections to parkland areas to the west and east.

“The proposal creates a welcoming and distinctive place that sets the high quality tone for the emerging Locking Parklands area.”

The plans will make up part of the total 1,450 homes earmarked for Locking Parklands.
