WESTON’S Civic Society is looking for nominations for its 2013 awards.

The group has been making presentations for improvements to the town since 1983 and can make awards for well designed new buildings, work on older structures, improvements to spaces between them and for the re-use of buildings.

Nominations, preferably including a photo, can be made for work anywhere in Weston and can be sent to awards@westoncivicsociety.org.uk or by post to The Old Town Quarry, South Road, BS23 2LU.

Recommendations should be made by the end of March and a panel of judges will decide on the winners which will be announced later in the year.
