Fun open day held at Cheddar Library

Cheddar Library opened its doors for an open day festival last weekend.
The library, in Union Street, invited people from around the area to enjoy crafts, games, live music and poetry.
The festival saw people of all ages come together and try out the library’s facilities.
Poet Beki Nagle was on hand to hold a children’s story time and a poetry session with the adults.
The library’s information assistant Jeremy Thompson-Smith said it was a ‘wonderful atmosphere’ throughout the day.
He added: “We had a crafts table set up, games and a Lego area in the children’s library.
“Everyone was really happy and had a good time and very relaxed which is what we wanted.”
Mr Thompson-Smith hopes this will lead the way for future events at the library, including a Christmas craft day for children on October 25.
The event will start at 2.30pm. To book a place, email firstname.lastname@example.org
