DEMOLITION works on a Weston landmark, car shows and bandstand action have all been caught on camera thanks to our quick-thinking and snappy readers.

Sally Turner took the photo (right) of workmen at the former gasworks site in Drove Road and Nick Page Hayman grabbed the chance to capture the restoration of Grove Park bandstand.

While other keen photographers took artistic shots of water lilies and the variety of plants in Grove Park , such as Marlies Hebdon and Titania Thrush.

All of these images were submitted to iwitness24, along with a host of photos taken at the Volkswagen Owners Club show – by James Griffiths and Sally Griffiths – and some beautiful and powerful photography of the town’s seafront by Paul Cowles.

All of the readers simply signed up via weston.iwitnness24.co.uk and started submitting the pictures.
