Fantastic Pancake Day enjoyed across North Somerset

Events across North Somerset saw people tucking into the sweet treats drowned in lemon and sugar and chocolate spread.

In Congresbury and Winscombe there was a great turn out for the annual races, where children and adults were tasked with completing a race while flipping pancakes before wearing them as hats across the finish line.

Cleeve residents sat down to enjoy a delicious meal followed by the sweet dessert.

Weston’s Grand Pier invited people to take part in its pancake race while the Multicultural Friendship Association welcomed people from around the town to enjoy live music and pancakes at the St John’s Church Hall in Boulevard.
