Pensioner taken to hospital after car crash

A MAN in his 70s has been taken to hospital after his car collided with another vehicle this afternoon (Wed).

Police were called to Marine Parade, near Clarence Road North, just before noon.

The man has suffered minor injuries and an ambulance was called to take the pensioner to Weston General Hospital as a precaution.

There is no serious damage to either vehicle and there is no obstruction on the road.
