Police appeal after aggravated burglary in centre of Weston-super-Mare

The victim of an aggravated burglary suffered facial injuries and lost teeth after two men forced their way into a property in the centre of Weston-super-Mare.

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men forced their way into a property in George Street and assaulted the victim.

The victim was left with a facial injury and lost some teeth in the incident, which happened at around 7pm on Saturday.

Both of the intruders were men. One of them is described as a black man, of medium build and around 5ft 11ins tall. He is thought to be between 26 and 30 years old and was wearing a fluffy dark grey hat, a dark jacket and dark trousers.

The second man was white and also around 5ft 11ins tall. He is described as being between 25 and 30 years old and was wearing a grey, dark-coloured coat, dark trousers and black gloves.

A spokesman from Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have seen two men who match the above descriptions.”
