POLICE in Burnham and Highbridge are appealing for information about exotic birds which have been stolen from their owner.

The birds, which include a peach face lovebird, a budgerigar, a diamond dove, lutino, pied and grey cockatiels, a Rosa Bourke parakeet and a Kakariki, were taken in two separate thefts from the owners home, one in October, and one in December.

If members of the public are offered any of the birds, or have information, they are being asked to contact PC 1916 Pete Wills or PCSO Sheila Dickinson at Burnham Police Station.
