The event at West Hay, in Wrington, raised money for a new oncology unit at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and for disabled horse riding opportunities across North Somerset.

Pony rides, stalls and an owl display were on offer for visitors to enjoy, while a jazz band provided some toe-tapping entertainment for music lovers.

A spokesman for the event said: “The superb weather contributed immeasurably to a highly successful occasion, which was supported by local and other firms, organisations, and individuals.

“There was a wide selection of stalls and activities, ranging from pony rides to helicopter flights and rescued owls to alpaca sausages.”
