There may be delays for anyone hoping to fly to and from Bristol Airport today (Friday) because an aeroplane left the runway after landing.

The inbound flight from Frankfurt left the runway while taxiing, after it landed at 11.36am this morning.

Passengers disembarked and returned to the terminal by coach.

None of the 25 people on board were hurt.

Other flights to and from Bristol Airport may face delays while the aircraft is towed onto an aircraft stand.

The flight involved was an Embraer 145, flight number BM1822.

Passengers should contact their airline for the latest flight information.
