The organisers of the hugely popular Weston-super-Mare Air Festival and Armed Forces Weekend have announced the first few flights which will take to the sky in June.

The event will take place on June 17-18 and some aerial displays are already confirmed.

Whirlwind 10, Catalina Flying Boat and Extra 330L are just a selection of the confirmed flights.

North Somerset councillor Felicity Baker said the weekend continues to grow in popularity year by year.

She added: “It is going to be another fabulous event, with more flights to be announced soon.”
