Meeting set to discuss housing development in East Huntspill

PUBLISHED: 16:00 31 August 2017

There will be a meeting in East Huntspill on Monday to discuss a possible housing development in the village.

People are being urged to go along to the housing consultation, which will run between 3pm and 7pm on Monday at All Saint’s Church Hall, in Church Road.

East Huntspill Parish Council is keen to create new affordable homes in the village and visitors to the meeting will be able to speak to the affordable housing development team from Sedgemoor District Council.

There will also be developers at the event talking about a proposal for New Road.

A presentation will take place at 4pm, and again at 6pm, and they will both be followed by question and answer sessions so people can ensure any concerns or queries are addressed.

Anyone who is keren to attend but unable make this date should call 03003 037800 or email for more information.
