A WESTON home providing breaks for members of the Royal Air Force (RAF) has benefitted from a new vehicle for its guests.

The Dudley branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) helped to raise money for Flowerdown House in Beach Road.

The home provides accommodation for members of the RAF, with care and support available for guests who need extra help.

Paul Baker, RAFA director for the South West said: “The Dudley Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association was one of over 50 branches in the area that donated money for the new vehicle.

“They raised a significant proportion of the cost as they wanted to help members of the RAF family in their area and around the country to enjoy days out while staying at Flowerdown House.”
