Volunteers from Burnham’s RNLI are set to organise a second rainbow run, following the success of the event last year.

More than 300 people took part in the 3.5km run, jog or skip from the town’s jetty to the lighthouse and were sprayed with paint throughout the challenge.

This time around the event will welcome 600 people on May 28, with it all starting at 2pm.

Organiser, Lesley Hart, said: “It’s a great event, getting the local community together and having a bit of fun while also raising money for their own local lifeboat station.”
