QUIZ – finalists revealed for spoof art contest the Turnip Prize

Organisers of a village art competition are celebrating a record number of entries this year.

More than 100 pieces were submitted to Wedmore’s Turnip Prize 2017, a spoof of the world famous Turner Prize.

Entries have now been whittled down to the final six.

The top award is given to the artist who has created the worst quality art using as little effort as possible.

The presentation ceremony for the competition will take place at 6.30pm on December 6 at The New Inn in Combe Batch.
