The beautiful sunny weekend will give way to heavy and thundery showers tomorrow (Tuesday), with the Met Office warning of potential flooding.

North Somerset and other parts of the South West can expect heavy rain from 1-9pm tomorrow.

The Met Office also says there is ‘a risk of hail showers’ too.

The worst affected areas could receive 50mm of rain in one hour.

The Met Office spokesman said: “While most places will miss the worst, please be aware of the risk of localised flooding.”
