A royal wedding guest from Weston-super-Mare is selling a goody bag on eBay – and will receive more than £8,000 for it.

The gift bag was given to guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day in Windsor on Saturday.

The canvas bag, featuring their initials, includes a commemorative chocolate coin, a bottle of water, fridge magnet, shortbread biscuits and an order of service.

There is also a voucher to get 20 per cent off the shop at Windsor Castle.

The bags were given to the 1,500 community champions who were invited to watch the service outside St George’s Chapel.

The item will be posted from Weston, with £2.95 postage costs, and is one of a number being sold on the online auction website.

But the winning bidder will cough up more than £8,000 for it.

Within a few hours today (Monday), the cost had risen from £350 to £8,050, with 47 bids so far.

The seller says: “Buy a piece of history and memorabilia to celebrate a momentous special day for Britain and the royal family.”

The bidding still has four days to go.
