A pair of orphaned fox cubs are being nursed back to health by Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

The charity took on the cubs, named Harry and Houdini, after they were found hungry, wet and without their mother.

Despite being found hundreds of miles away in Devon, the pair were taken to Secret World’s headquarters in New Road, East Huntspill.

Animal carer Dan Bryant said: “It is always heartening when you hear just how far some people will go to help wildlife.

“The dedication and spirit of the Devon Badger Group showed no bounds.

“Without the group and the protection of their mother, both cubs would have died.

“We have had a late and busy start to the orphan season and now have nearly 30 fox cubs in our care.”

Secret World rescued 78 foxes in 2017.
