TWO runs through a scenic
Somerset spot have been planned for this year.

The Cheddar Gorge Challenge, organised by the National Trust in partnership with Relish Running, gives runners the chance to take part in a range of distances.

Some of the courses, which range from 200m to 10km, include climbs and views from the cliff edge.

National Trust projects organiser Mark Courtiour said: “The Cheddar Gorge challenge brings in a new crowd of people who can enjoy the fantastic setting, and at the same time see the importance of the Trust’s work to preserve the countryside.

“This year, the event was even better as we were able to set up temporary parking close to the race start and finish.”

The next races will be held on June 22 and August 17 and all finishers receive a goody bag and medal.
