Congresbury Methodist Church, in High Street, hosted a soup and puds lunch.

The meal was held on Thursday and a dedicated team of chefs prepared the meal for guests.

Entry to the lunch was priced at £4 per person and this included a bowl of homemade soup, a bread roll, a homemade pudding and a cup of tea or coffee.

In addition, cakes and produce were on sale and a raffle was also held.

The event raised money for Children’s Hospice South West.
