Speeding campaign appeal

A WESTON residents’ association is appealing for the public’s help in its quest to raise awareness of speeding motorists.

The Coronation estate group is hoping to install a temporary speed activated sign on Canberra Road which tells motorists how fast they are travelling.

One member of the association has signed up to help keep an eye on the device and replace its batteries when needed, but the group needs two more people to volunteer.

Anyone interested should contact Mary Morgan of South Ward Neighbourhood Management Team on 01934 426998.
