A North Somerset village gardening group is calling on residents to take part in a clean-up effort next month.

Blooming Congresbury has organised a village clean-up day for May 6.

The group wants residents to clean areas near their homes, and is also looking for a team of volunteers to tackle public spaces in the village which are in need of tidying.

The group is targeting the Millennium Green and Broad Street as important areas requiring attention.

Blooming Congresbury is a Congresbury Parish Council initiative which is hoping to make the village more attractive.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact the parish council on 01934 838802.
