Three men went into Domino’s Pizza in the Boulevard just before 1am.

One of the offenders was believed to be carrying an axe.

The men threatened the staff and damaged an interior door, but the offenders then left empty-handed.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, but the police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.

A cordon has been put up around the store so enquiries can be carried out at the scene.

Avon and Somerset police will also be carrying out door-to-door enquiries as part of the investigation.

Anyone who has any information about the offence is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5217255278.
