GREAT weather and great fun were both in plentiful supply at St Anne’s Primary School summer fete on Saturday.

The two bouncy castles were a ‘big hit’ with the many children who attended the Hewish event, as well as games such as tin can alley and the annual tug-of-war competition.

A bake-off saw a mass of ‘amazing’ cakes on show, with four categories including one for children.

A ‘wonderful’ showcase by the dance club went down a storm with the many gathered onlookers.

The fete meant that £1,300 could be donated to school funds, described by organisers as ‘a fantastic achievement’.
