A PE TEACHER from a Somerset school has set up a project to raise money for Cancer Research UK by repairing and servicing bicycles.
Robin Evans, who teaches PE at Hugh Sexey Middle School, set up Charity Cycles following the death of a close friend, who suffered from cancer.
The project has already raised £1,600 and children from the school have also taken part in helping to run the initiative.
Mr Evans has been sponsored by the school and the Cheddar Lions to be trained at a professional bicycle mechanic level.
