A BOOK written by a Weston author has been shortlisted for an award.

Teresa Morgan published the e-book Plus One Is A Lucky Number last year and it will be released as a paperback today (Thurs).

The Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) has shortlisted it for a Joan Hessayon Award for new writers.

Teresa said: “My debut novel published in 2013, then I’m told I’m eligible to be a contender for the Joan Hessayon Award in 2014 – excited is not a strong enough word.

“Thrilled doesn’t even come close. I’m still pinching myself.”

The award will be presented at the RNA summer party in London on May 22.
