The black tie event, organised by Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants, will take guests on a nautical themed evening with this year’s biennial ball theme The Captain’s Table.

The proceedings from this year’s event, which will include an auction, casino and live music, will be donated to charities such as Children’s Hospice South West and BRACE.

Di Perrett, a partner at the firm, said: “These events raise tens of thousands of pounds for very worthwhile causes which rely heavily on the generosity of the public to keep providing essential services which touch many lives.”

The Captain’s Table ball takes place at Batch Country House, off Batch Lane, in Lympsham on October 13.

Tickets, priced £42.50, are available from 01934 620428 or email weston@thomaswestcott.co.uk
