A Weston mother has said she is ‘extremely proud’ of her 10-year-old daughter and her friend, who have raised £100 for Cancer Research UK.
Maddison Williams and Leona Morgan organised a cake sale at Uphill Primary School.
The two both know people who have been affected by cancer and so decided to give something back.
Anna Williams, Maddison’s mum told the Mercury: “We are so proud of them.
“Maybe they understand more about the illness than we realise to have come up with such an amazing and thoughtful idea.”
