A LARGE group of men and women was involved in a disturbance in Weston town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which happened on High Street near to the town Marks and Spencer store at about 3.25am on Sunday morning.

Two people – a man and a woman – were injured in the incident, but declined medical treatment from paramedics.

Three men – who are aged 20, 24 and 25 and from the West Midlands – were then arrested on suspicion of affray.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from people who may have been in the area at the time who might have information.
