AXBRIDGE played host to a celebratory event showcasing the best things Somerset has to offer.

The festival of arts, crafts, food and drink was held in the town on Saturday and featured a spring fair market offering a range of Somerset goods.

There was entertainment by the Axbridge Singers, Clarendon Recorders, Jean the accordionist, a fire juggler and children’s activities such as face painting and a Punch and Judy show. A dog show also took place the following day.

The event, called Somerset Showcase, returned after a one-year break and was organised by Axbridge Chamber of Commerce.
