Although the store has been open for a couple of months, Points West anchor Alex Lovell officially opened the doors of the High Street shop along with mayor David Hitchins and volunteers for the charity.

Alex Lovell said: “The hospice is close to the hearts of so many people in and around Weston and the charity relies very heavily on their shops for the funds so it was an honour to open their newest store.”

The store is now one of the charity’s largest shops, boasting an extensive book selection, seasonal clothing, homeware and electrical items.
