Legendary Sky Sports host Jeff Stelling will walk 400 miles for charity this summer, and will stop off at Weston-super-Mare Football Club en route.

Stelling is leading the March For Men from June 2-16, raising money and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK by walking from Exeter City FC’s St James Park to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park in 15 days.

Stelling’s mammoth challenge, which takes him to the Woodspring Stadium on June 3, will see him walk a marathon each day.

Last year, Stelling walked a staggering 262 miles, but he is taking his fundraising efforts to another level.

He said: “After the agony and ecstasy of the walk last year, so many people have been in touch with stories of their battle against prostate cancer, and wanting to say thank you to me and to Prostate Cancer UK for their support.

“It makes me feel very humble and gratified that I’m in a position where I can do something.

“Prostate cancer kills one man ever hour in the UK, and I just decided I couldn’t sit on my backside and do nothing about it.

“I can put one foot in front of the next and hopefully raise awareness and funds to help men beat this diabolical disease.”
